Basic Rider Course-2
(formerly the Experienced Rider Course)

The Basic Rider Course 2 was designed for riders who have successfully completed the Basic Rider Course or those who are already licensed and frequently ride.The students use their own street-ready motorcycle. There is no knowledge test or skill test. No DMV certification, (DL-389) will be issued for this course.

The Basic Rider Course 2 consists of 4 1/2 hours of off street riding instruction with exercise debriefs. Subject areas include: weaving, quick stops, limited space maneuvers, cornering judgement and swerving.

The experienced rider may bring a passenger to particpate in the course so that they learn skills to properly ride together.

Naturally, riders who want to take the Basic Rider Course 2 must be proficient in the basic riding skills -- including shifting, turning and braking.


This is a single session course usually held Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

The cost of the course is $100.00 for the rider and an additional $50.00 to include a passenger.
