We are a California State sub-contracted motorcycle training facility, recognized by the DMV.

We offer the California Motorcyclist Safety Program training at two locations; Sierra College in Rocklin and Pioneer High School in Woodland, as part of Woodland Adult Education.

Rocklin is approximately 10 miles east of Sacramento on I-80 .

Woodland is located on approximately 8 miles north of Davis on Highway 113.
From I-5 it is approximately 8 miles north of the Sacramento International Airport.

The Basic Rider Course, Basic Rider Course-2 (formerly the Experienced Rider Course), and the Practice Course are offered at all three of our locations.
The Advanced Rider Course is only offered at the Rocklin site.

DMV certification is issued upon completion of the Basic Rider Course and is required to obtain a California Motorcycle License if you are under 21 years old.

At the Woodland Site there is usually no waiting to get into the Basic Rider Course. Here we use a one weekend format which consists of three 5 hour sessions.
One classroom session is held Friday evening, and two riding sessions are held both Saturday and Sunday. When enrolling specify morning or afternoon riding sessions.

At the Rocklin Site the Basic Rider Course currently has no waiting list, so book now! This site also offers a one weekend format with a choice of morning or afternoon riding sessions.
The morning schedule is as follows: Friday evening one 2.5 hour classroom session, Saturday morning one 5 hour riding session and Saturday afternon one 2.5 hour classroom session, Sunday morning 5 hour riding session.
The afternoon schedule is completed Saturday and Sunday with a 2.5 hour classroom session held in each morning and a 5 hour session of riding held each afternoon.

Midweek classes are offered at the Rocklin site. These classes are held two consecutive Fridays. We offer midweek classes approximately every two months.

The Basic Rider Couse-2  is offered at both locations. This course is held twice a year, additional classes can be added to the schedule in order accomodate student demand.  

All three sites have stand-by lists and take walk-ins on a first come-first serve basis.
